Recycling Effort! The Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation called the recycling efforts of SCYSC's Seaside Classic Tournament volunteers "exceptional." Our recycling efforts diverted 1,340 lbs of mixed recycling from ending up in the Johnston landfill. Our recovery rate was estimated at 80%, which is pretty good. Next year we hope to capture 99.9%! Thank you to the Sorlien family for spearheading this effort. |
