Why Coach Soccer At South County Youth Soccer Club?

Picture
Coaching youth soccer is a wonderful way to be more involved in your own child's youth sports experience, while also mentoring other kids in the community! Whether you have a soccer background or none at all, it is an opportunity to be a positive role model and foster skills that will help your players both on and off the field. If you are a former soccer player, this is a chance to share your love for the game and watch kids build their own passion for it. Whether overcoming a challenge, learning a new skill, or making a great play, seeing a child's face when they are successful is incredibly rewarding.

Coaching also opens the door to meeting like-minded individuals, whether that’s moms and dads coaching their kids' teams or meeting people who simply love the game. It allows you to be a part of a team and something bigger than yourself, building relationships that have the potential to span the rest of your life.

What Do We expect Of Our Coaches?

Picture
The primary objective for Coaches (and every adult in the Club) is to foster a love of the game for the players. Remember, it's the "players" game.
