The South County Youth Soccer Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for next MONDAY, JANUARY 11th at 7:00 pm @ the Club. At that meeting we will elect and welcome our new Board members. Our Board meeting will follow directly afterwards.

South Teams have Banner Columbus Day Tournament Weekend
Leaves weren't the only things falling over Columbus Day Weekend, so were nearly all the SCYSC opponents. Congratulations SCYSC teams participating in Columbus Day Tournaments! Here are the teams and their records that played in Nashua, NH and Natick, MA during the 2015 holiday. Girls U9 Girls Elite 3-0-1 Dominated the Group U11 Girls Travel (Kanaczet) 0-1-2 Played very well and tied the World Cup Nashua Team U11 Girls Elite Played in the top division Went 1-1-1 U12 Girls Elite Beat Bayside RI Strikers in the Final--CHAMPION! U14 Girls Elite-Played in the top bracket- went 1-2 but won their last game 7-3 U14 Girls Travel with Coach Doug Bates made it to semifinals before losing 1-0 in Natick MA tournament. Boys U8 Boys -Played in U9 Division--Every game was competitive--winning their last game 6-2 U9 Boys-Played U10 Division Went 3-1 Played well and was down to 1 sub by the end of the tournament U10 Boys Elite Blue-Went 3-0-1 won their bracket U10 Boys Elite White-Went 3-1 won their bracket U11 Boys Elite --Scored 19 Goals and only 2 against--CHAMPION! U12 Boys Elite-Played in the top bracket--Every game was competitive U12 Boys Elite Premier- Team had 0 goals against -CHAMPION! U14 Boys travel--Every game was competitive--Played very well and went 1-2 Our players are receiving FREE tickets to attend a New England Revolution soccer game this spring at Gillette Stadium! SAVE THE DATE! Saturday, May 2 – 7:30 p.m. New England Revolution vs. New York Red Bulls at Gillette Stadium As part of the partnership between Super Liga and the Revolution, all of our players will receive a voucher in the mail to attend the 6th annual Super Liga Night at the Revolution! You will receive your voucher in the mail within the next week or so (DON’T THROW IT OUT!). You’ll need to follow the instructions on the voucher and redeem either online or by mail through the Revs. This year’s Super Liga Night will be a rematch of the Eastern Conference Championship and some of our players will get to participate in activities on the Gillette Stadium field! If you can’t make the game on May 2 you can redeem your voucher for one of three other select Revolution home games. We’re looking forward to seeing you there! Players excelling at this camp will be invited to the 2015 Stoke City International Academy National Residential Camp, staffed by the Stoke City International Academy staff in Stoke, England. Players excelling there will be invited to England for a Stoke City Academy experience. Coach Brian Bradley's Stingrays won the U12 Boys Thanksgiving Tournament outscoring their opponents 17-1 with a record of 3-0-1. Well done boys!

Monday, February 9, 2015 New referee training is coming to South County. This training offers RI certification to become a Grade 9 Referee. Grade 9 referees must be 11 years old. One can take the training at 10 years of age, but you must be 11 before you can referee the games. The New Ref Class will be held Sat 14th at Monsignor Clarke.
