​The Northeast's Premier Summer Youth Soccer Tournament
​ July 10th - 12th, 2026

The Seaside Classic, held near the beautiful beaches of South County, Rhode Island, is one of the largest and most respected summer youth soccer tournaments in the Northeast. In 2025, the tournament hosted 322 teams from over 70 clubs, playing across three top-quality locations, attracting players, families, and fans from across New England, New York, and Canada.

With over 30 years of experience, the Seaside Classic is professionally organized, ensuring smooth logistics, clear scheduling, and attentive staff support so that games run efficiently and players have a positive, rewarding experience. The tournament is designed with both players and families in mind.

We offer high-level competition for boys and girls U8–U19, with divisions carefully structured by age and competition level. All teams are guaranteed four games. Tournament-goers also enjoy a diverse selection of food trucks and local vendors, free parking, and a lively, family-friendly atmosphere. Clubs participating for three or more consecutive years and registering more than five teams receive a multi-team rebate.

Beyond the fields, South County offers endless ways to enjoy the weekend. Families can explore pristine beaches, scenic boat tours, historic lighthouses, hiking trails, and charming towns like Newport, Watch Hill, and Providence. Food lovers can savor fresh seafood, local specialties, and a wide variety of acclaimed restaurants throughout the region. With so much to do both on and off the field, the Seaside Classic is more than just a tournament — it’s a summer soccer experience for the whole family, combining top-level competition with the best of Rhode Island’s hospitality, cuisine, and scenic beauty.

For 2026, the Seaside Classic is setting its sights higher than ever. With the buzz of next summer's international soccer events coming to New England, we are exploring exciting opportunities to expand our reach and the experience of the tournament. Any enhancements we introduce will be balanced with our unwavering commitment to quality--ensuring the well-run environment our teams expect. While details are still developing, our goal is to create a weekend that brings together top-tier youth competition, cultural exchange, and the unique energy of this extraordinary soccer moment in our region. 

Tournament highlights 

• All teams guaranteed 4 games​
• Champion teams of each division (U11 & older) receive a unique Champion's award
• All players U8 through U10 receive a custom participation award
• Different divisions based on desired competition level and number of registered teams
• All grass fields and plenty of shade for spectators
• A variety of food vendors and merchants 
• No parking fees
• Clubs who have participated for 3 consecutive years and bring 5 or more teams will receive a multi-team rebate  after the tournament​​​​​
