Please consider signing up to coach or assistant coach. We can't do it without volunteer coaches!
Coaching is a great opportunity to be more involved in your child's youth sports experience and a positive role model for kids in the community. The smiles on the kids' faces can be extremely rewarding. Not to mention, it is fun!
Volunteer coaches will receive support from a professional soccer coach who will help guide every practice session.

REGISTRation And Uniforms

REGISTRATION IS OPEN THROUGH AUGUST 24

This registration is for players U5 - U14 (birth years 2011-2020). All teams are co-ed. Younger players born in 2021 or 2022, may join our TinyTykes program.
Fee: $80 (does not include uniform - more info below)
Family Discount Available: 2nd child: $5 off, 3rd-8th child: $10 off. In order to receive this discount, please add each child's registration to your cart and then checkout.
Any potential players who would like to register after August 24 need to contact our Rec Director and we will do our best to accommodate you. Late registrants are not guaranteed placement on a team and may not qualifty for a family discount.
We cannot guarantee any requests for certain players to be on the same team or with certain coaches. These requests are quite numerous, and logistics can prevent us from granting these. Thank you for understanding.
Financial aid is available for families in need. Applications are confidential. To apply, please email our registrar.

UNIFORM INFORMATION

The above registration fees do not cover the cost of uniforms. All players must have a uniform issued by South County Youth Soccer Club to participate in games.
We will be using the same uniforms that were used during the 2022 Spring/Fall seasons and the 2023 Spring Recreation Seasons (1 dark blue and 1 light blue).
The cost of jerseys (in sets of 2 - 1 dark and 1 light blue) is an additional fee of $30. The club (coaches) will distribute jerseys to families that order them for the fall during the first week of practice.

PRACTICE INFORMATION

Practices are 55 minutes / once per week
Practices will run from 9/3 through 10/24 (see detailed schedule by age group below)
There will be no practice on 10/14 (Columbus Day)
There will be no make-up practices

GAME INFORMATION

Games are on Saturdays: 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/19, 10/26 (see detailed schedule by age group below)
Rain Date: 11/2
No games on 10/12 (Columbus Day Weekend)

*IMPORTANT PRACTICE SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR U6 + U7 ONLY. In order to have a first practice before the first game, U6/U7 practices will commence on Tuesday 9/3, then shift to their regular Monday times the following week.

quick facts

We welcome players & families from numerous RI & CT towns.
We embrace all interested players – players not selected on ability.
Teams practice once a week.
Teams have one Saturday game weekly.
Practice sessions & games take place in South Kingstown.
Team coaches are volunteers.
Competitive players are encouraged to play an extra game a week with our Rec program.
Players must wear soccer cleats (safety on grass) and shin guards.
Players should bring their own water bottle and their own soccer ball to practices. Soccer balls come in sizes - check below for the correct size for your player.
- U5-U8 - size 3 ball
- U9-U12 - size 4 ball
- U13 and up - size 5 ball
