| Description: | On Tuesday 11/29, at 7pm, SCYSC will offer a coaching clinic for all coaches interested in learning how to teach and what to best to focus on coaching indoors. This will be a great opportunity to get aligned as a club in terms of what we need to accomplish this indoor season.
I'm working on making sure that Michael Needham will join us for at least part of the clinic, and for the rest of the time we can discuss as a group what works and doesn't work in terms of training in small spaces. There will also be an opportunity for whoever wants to, to kick around a bit, as we have the place till 10pm. So bring your boots, your questions, and your willingness to learn new stuff.

Everybody's welcome to South County Youth Soccer Club's "Winter Kickoff!"
The event will be the club's introduction to indoor training, featuring trainers Michael Needham, URI women's varsity head coach, Speed and Agility expert Greg Murphy, goalie coach Kyle Froberg, and others.
The day begins at 12pm and will run to 5pm, with coaching demonstrations in an open house atmosphere. Coaches are encouraged to invite their families, to introduce them to the kinds of quality training the club will offer its players.
There will be two condensed coaching demos, one beginning at 12:30pm and one at 3pm, so everyone will get a chance to observe and ask any questions they might have.
We will be looking for three demo teams (U10-U12) for 1pm, and three (U13-U15) teams for 3pm for abbreviated sample coaching sessions. We're also looking for 10-12 keepers for keeper training demo and 10-12 athletes to participate in Murphy's speed and agility training.
This will be an exciting way to kick off the indoor phase of the club's player development, and is especially recommended for new parents who have yet to see how South County Youth Soccer dedicates its time and energies to its players.
