Nominations Being Accepted for 2012 Board of Directors

The South County Youth Soccer Club (SCYSC) is now accepting nominations for its 2012 Board of Directors elections.  Positions up for election in January 2012 include the following with current director in parentheses:

     Vice President (Albert Della Bitta),  
     Director of Finance & Treasury (Richard Dunn),
     Director of Recreational Programs (Tammi Granville),
     Director of Fund-raising (Patrick Canavan),
     Director of Facilities (Vacant),
     Director of Referees (Neil Ferguson),
     Director of Communications (Richard Pepe)

The Board is always looking for new members that can provide diversity of thought in the interest of improvement of the club and wellbeing of its members.  For a list of responsibilities required for each position, please refer to the SCYSC Constitution and Bylaws (http://www.scysc.org/article.php?id=340). 

The election will be held at the Annual General Membership meeting in January 2012 at a date and time to be announced. 

If you are interested or would like to nominate a member for a position please forward the nomination to SCYSC by 12/31/11 in one of two ways,

(1) via email to the SCYSC Secretary and Nominations Chairman:  ahgagnon@gmail.com     

or     (2) via USPS mail to:

SCYSC, attn: Nominations, 1425 Kingstown Rd, Box #6, Peacedale, RI, 02879 

Nomination submittals should include the following: (1) Name of person being nominated, (2) Contact information (address, phone, email) of person being nominated, (3) Name of person doing the nomination, (4) Contact information (address, phone, email) of person doing the nomination, (5) Nominee's soccer background, past association with SCYSC, and other unique qualifications.
