No Parking along Ministerial Road

As you have probably noticed, the park maintenance department has done some brush clearing at the end of the Tuckertown soccer fields.  The clearing was initiated because of several complaints we had received about the poison ivy, bull briars, and tick habitat.  As a temporary measure to stop balls from rolling into the road we have put up a snow fence until such time that we purchase and install more desirable screening trees and shrubs. 

With the area at the end of the field now wide open it seems that many more people are illegally parking along Ministerial Road and walking onto the field.  We have received numerous complaints about the parking issue and have concerns myself about the safety of people crossing the street with the limited visibility between cars. 

Please park within the Tuckertown Park parking lot at all times, if the lot is full they are welcome to spill over into the grass field near the picnic shelter.  We also ask that you not park in the Grange parking lot.  I have been told that if the parking continues along Ministerial Road that tickets will be issued.  I just thought I would give you a heads up so hopefully no one has to pay a parking ticket.
