Sparks Win Premier Division of Holiday Tournament

Congratulations to the South County Sparks FC girls U12 team for winning the Wide World of Indoor Sports Holiday Tournament in the Premier Division.  After three solid wins and a tie in round robin play against some great competition, the team advanced to the final to face FC Explosion.  After a 1-1 tie in regulation and an overtime period, the girls managed to take the title in exciting fashion in a shoot out.  While all games were competitive, the team never trailed at any time during the tournament.  Guest player Bridget Montle (on loan from South County Surf) was exceptional in goal all day.  Congratulations again to the Sparks!
