The South County U12 Boys are the 2009 Soccer-RI Cup Champions.  After an unbeaten regular 2009 Spring Superliga season, and winning last week's North Kingstown Father's Day Tournament, our boys won a double-overtime semifinal battle on Saturday against an upstart East Greenwich team, decided on penalty kicks.  On Sunday, the South boys shutdown the vaunted offense of the previously unbeaten (18-0) Barrington squad, winning the Soccer-RI Cup Championship for RI's top U12 Anchor Division 2-1.  The boys are anxious to take on all comers in the upcoming Seaside Classic Tournament.
