Thursday, August 7, 2008 2008 SuperLiga Champs - U12 Boys South County Blaze!
The South County Blaze team completed an outstanding SuperLiga season, by defeating the Warwick Firefighter 3-2 in the Championship game on Saturday June 7th at Deerfield Park. Although South was down 0-1 at half time, the boys came back with a strong performance and effort in the second half to earn the 2008 U12 Anchor Division title.
The Blaze's overall SuperLiga record is complete at 15-1-0, as they were both the Anchor Division's Fall and Spring SuperLiga Champs!
Best of luck to the team for the rest of the season as they are in the RI Cup semi-finals and then head to the U.S. Youth Soccer Regional Championships in Maine!
